Horseback Riding – Red Rock Canyon Riding Stables

With over 2 million visitors coming to Red Rock Canyon every year, one of the most popular destinations is the Red Rock Canyon Riding Stables.  Tucked at the base of the canyon at the Bonnie Springs Ranch, just 35 minutes west of the Las Vegas strip is the Red Rock Canyon Riding Stables.

The stables can take up to 25 riders with 3 ranch wranglers as your guides as you explore the base of the canyon on horse back.  Our horses are well trained and very comfortable with new riders.

This is one of the amazing ways to see desert in all of it’s splendor.  In the spring, the desert is in bloom with yellow, orange and purple flowers.  Cactus blooms are just spectacular.

Red Rock Canyon is also home to many animals, including burros, coyotes, snakes, lizards and big horn sheep.  It is very common to encounter wildlife during your ride.

Burro, bonnie springs ranch, red rock canyonThe burros or as they are fondly referred to as “The Locals” are extremely common and many times you will see them on the road leading to Bonnie Springs Ranch.

After your ride, we suggest that you take the time to wash the dust from your palette with a refreshing drink from the bar and enjoy a meal in the restaurant at Bonnie Springs.  When you take the time to get out of the city, you will discover the secrets of Red Rock Canyon.
