Award-winning director Yazhou Yang recently completed filming for the 2017 Mandarin dramatic television series Farewell, Las Vegas at Bonnie Springs Ranch in Red Rock Canyon, Nevada. The series features actor/singer Nicky Wu, star of the critical and commercial hit Scarlet Heart, and Ode to Joy‘s breakout star Olivia Wang Ziwen. Yang, whose credits include such acclaimed films as Best Picture winner Pretty Big Feet (for which Yang garnered the award for Best Director at China’s Golden Rooster Awards), Steal Happiness, and Feed Me and the television comedy Hey, Daddy, helms one of the most distinguished filmmaking ventures to shoot in the Las Vegas area in recent history. We at Bonnie Springs Ranch gladly hosted the project and remain available for productions as a prime destination for scenic photography.
Bonnie Springs Ranch has even been featured domestically on Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures, TruTV’s Impractical Jokers, and in Tony Scott’s action film Domino, which starred Keira Knightley, Mickey Rourke, Lucy Liu, Christopher Walken, Jacqueline Bisset, and Edgar Ramirez among others; Scott had intended to film at Bonnie Springs for some time after staying at the motel.
